All of our games are primarily designed for use at adult dinner parties, and therefore contain plots and themes of an adult nature. However, there is nothing obviously explicit or offensive in the games. Whilst the games do contain humour etc of a risque nature, it is mostly done with double-entendres and subtle, oblique references, so that the games can be enjoyed on several levels by a wide variety of people.
Each party can choose to accentuate, or not, this side of the game.
However, we would suggest that the 'English' game, 'Power, Plots and Pistols' contains slightly more jokes & content of a risque nature than the other games (and is probably not suitable for younger teen parties), - but again, the references are done in a humourous manner and are not offensive in any way.
Please contact us if you have any further concerns in this area.
The teen versions of our Pirate and Halloween games are aimed at 12-16 year olds. Although they contain the same basic script/contents as the adult game, the Q&As are all written in the 1st person ("Blaise, why did you go to...") whereas the adult version has the Q&As in the 2nd person (Ask Blaise why she went...).
The 1st person teen version is easier to play, as players do not need to translate the question in their heads into 1st person speech - but the adult version encourages a less 'prescribed' approach and more ad-libbing.
